Swimming Pool Lighting

Lighting that enhances the appearance of the swimming pool at night that may be located in the pool, around the perimeter of the pool, or shine directly on the swimming pool.

Swimming pool lighting is one of the first things recommended by the authorities in swimming pool safety for the safety of pool users in and around the pool area.  If your swimming pool does not have lights already installed, or if the cost of installing lights is an issue, buoy lights are the answer to your lighting challenge.  Just turn them on, and toss them into the water. They are powered by rechargeable batteries that last an average of about 4 hours and can light up to a 20'x40' pool.  There are no electric cables or outlets needed, making them a safe alternative.  Another option for lighting the pool that can also be relatively simple is a 12 volt halogen lamp that snaps onto the rim of an above-ground pool and gives you an option of 5 colored disks.  Solar lights powered by the sun come in many fun shapes and lasts about 8 hours and automatically come on, making them the ultimate in safety if nobody is at home to switch the lights on.  Other safe, non-electric and economical solutions to lighting your pool are fiber optic cables placed around to highlight the edge of your pool.
