Pressure Pool Cleaners

Pressure pool cleaners are a type of automatic pool cleaner andwork as a result of water pressure and have their own self-contained filter bag.

Being that pressure pool cleaners contain a replaceable filter bag that traps dirt, pressure cleanersdo not use, affect or inhibit the pools pump and filter system – much as an electric or robot pool cleaner will not affect a swimming pool’s filtration system.  Compared to suction pool cleaners that hook up to the suction port of a swimming pool’s plumbing, pressure pool cleaners hook up to the return port.  The advantage to this is that filtered water is distributed around the pool through the pressure cleaner.  Depending on the type of pool pump being used for a swimming pool, a booster pump may need to be added to create enough pressure for the pressure cleaner to work at its best.
