Swimming Pool Slides
A smooth surface intended for sliding into a swimming pool.
Pool slides today come in a wide variety of colors, designs, and sizes. Pool slides can generally be safer than diving boards, but must also be use responsibly. Pool slides can also enhance a poolscape, especially with the variety of options available for both poolscapes and slides. Taller slides are commonly hooked up to a water connection from the swimming pool’s filter system or return water supply. Shorter pool slides rarely require a water connection. Among options for the appearance of pool slides are rock formations surrounding the slide, slides that are tubular in appearance, and slides that look like typical sliding boards. Swimmers using the pool slide should be made aware of pool safety expectations, such as make sure nobody is below the pool or on the pool before sliding down into the swimming pool.
